picking strawberries

This past weekend we headed north to North Arm Farm, just outside of Pemberton, for a picnic and some strawberry picking.

The picnic was a success, the weather was an absolute success, and the strawberries were ripe & plentiful. We got four full buckets within just a few minutes, and Sophie probably ate another bucket worth herself (and left absolutely no evidence on her face, shirt, hat, etc;).

All-in-all a great day. I highly recommend the farm for a fantastic picnic spot (there are farm animals, all kinds of plants and flowers, big home-made swings and lots of tasty treats to buy on your way out). One piece of advice though–bring your bug spray!!

  1. I love strawberry season. The fairy berry festival is at Prairie Gardens right now, can’t wait to go pick some strawberries!
